Tony Thelen is the Founder and Principal Executive Coach at The River Coaching and Consulting, LLC., a professional services firm that he created following his 35-year career with John Deere to help executives to maximize their effectiveness and lead more productive and fulfilling careers.  Mr. Thelen earned a post-graduate diploma from Oxford University in 2014, an MBA from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001 and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1991.  He is the author of “Am I Doing This Right – Foundations for a Successful Career and a Fulfilling Life”, a book aimed at helping professionals at all stages of their career to achieve success while not giving up fulfillment and satisfaction in their personal lives. He is also the author of a weekly executive coaching column on LinkedIn called “Dear Tony” providing coaching advice to people around the world.
