Fifth generation wireless technology has been the latest buzzword for the past couple of years. 

Covid and increased digitization/virtualization has only accelerated the need for 5G.  The average layman views 5G as a “bigger, faster, better” successor to 4G. That may be true if one was to over-simplify things. A more apt comparison would be between a Horse and a Jet aircraft. Both will get you from point A to point B, but the latter was an exponential game changer not only in terms of technology but how it transformed our everyday lives.
